🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯Great customer service from the server to the manager. Everyone speaks and friendly🤩😍🤩🤩😍🤩😍
I will say this place was just as described. Good food and a great atmosphere. We had just completed half our drive home when we needed to get out of the truck and eat some food. So we scanned yelp and found this place. We ordered the GB nachos for appetizer... they were smaller than expected and our party of 6! ( 2 adults 4 kids) blew through them quickly... my son was about ready to lick the empty plate. I ordered the hodge podge po boy with shrimp and crawfish... they were cooked perfectly and the shrimp were huge. They had a good remoulade sauce on the sandwich. The bread was excellent. That is the key piece to the po boy. The fries were unusual but excellent... almost like a spiral cut fry with potato wedge batter. My wife had the GB burger and said it was really tasty. My oldest has the fgt BLT which she devoured it so I am guessing it was excellent. Great place to stop and eat in the area. Only negative was price of things.
Great!I had the Georgia Blue shrimp and grits. Nice atmosphere an the live band topped it off. Will definitely stop by whenever i come back to Mississippi!
We decided to stop here to eat while traveling to Texas. My husband heard about this restaurant on a College Game Day episode a few years back. The hostess was MIA when we arrived and there was another couple waiting in front of us and another couple came in behind us. We waited for a few minutes and we were sat by a server, Dalton, who had also greeted us while we were waiting to be seated. We shared the Chief Trey’s Crabcake Po-Boy and it was really good. The picture below is a half portion of the sandwich. It was a large portion and a good price. Dalton was busy but was still very attentive to us while we were there. He was running his behind off, thank you for the great service Dalton!
Grits had tons of flavor!!
I'm not from the area but this place is amazing and I have an amazing waitress named MeganThey also have a live sports radio after the game on Monday nights !
Food is incredible, atmosphere is comfortable, staff is great! I wish they had one of these in North Mississippi!
Great food and even better service!
Delicious food! Great service! Dessert was AMAZING my daughter got a frisbee and all around it’s a nice atmosphere they have THE BEST friend green tomatoes in town! One of my favorite places to visit. Dalton, our waiter was exceptional! We had our toddler with us he kept bringing us napkins bc she’s a messy eater and answered all of our questions! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves great southern food!
Good southern style food.
Just moved here 4 months ago from the coast. Georgia Blue is hands down the best restaurant in Hattiesburg. You guys are doing a phenomenal job. Keep it up!
Amazingly fantastic food. We tried the burger, FGT-BLT and fried chicken sliders. All excellent. Service was a tad slow but neat atmosphere. Good find.
Our server Dalton was very pleasant. Food was good. Atmosphere was nice. Ordered the Tamale Bites appetizer. So good 😊. Highly recommend the Tamale Bites. All around great place. Next time I will hopefully stay for the music 🎼
Most known for they’re live music & affordable drink specials
Our first trip to Georgia Blue was on our way home from a road trip. We stopped out of curiosity, and we were not disappointed. They had happy hour going on for appetizers and drinks, which we took full advantage of. And their pasta was cooked perfectly. Our waitresses were pleasant. We will definitely return.
Georgia blues has a great atmosphere. The food was very good and the customer service is superb! They have some unique items that you just have to explore yourself to appreciate it. I also learned while I was there that they distill their own bourbon and vodka here at Canton Mississippi.
We had amazing service and our food was great! The fried green tomato BLT is delicious, and ending the meal with the GB donut just made the meal percect. We had a great lunch, and all left with happy full tummies . I highly recommend.
Good food, but a tad pricey. I've had similar food at better prices. Some of the dishes are worth every penny though. They have local live musicians come in so that's an added bonus. Worth a visit.
They had a lot of seafood options, I went with the shrimp and grits and my husband went with the grilled chicken cordon bleu. The food was delicious but a little pricey for what it was. The bill was $60 for 2 entrees, 1 appetizer, a water and a sweet tea.
I would give fewer stars, but the food was good.I was in the restaurant an hour, had 3 different servers who really didn't care to serve me, then I was told the kitchen is closing in 45 minutes, but they didn't ask for my order. Crazy. And lt was a give back night for an organization i support. I came planning to spend some money. I won't be back.
Excellent service that day and the food and desserts were awesome! Some unique drinks and desserts. Do try the Turnip Green Bites! You'll be surprised! little on the pricey side, though. Kids meals are $4, but they charge $2 for kids drinks.
Greatest roast beef poboy in the world! Although they need bigger plates. Its huge!
Great food and service
Good food and service, unique dishes.
Service was awesome. Food was awesome. But it was a little pricey. Worth it though. Will be back
Great food....but closed now.
We went to Georgia Blue in Hattiesburg has a nice atmosphere the food was okay but we didn't get it a lot. All we got were the appetizers but my sister says she goes there often. She said the steaks are awesome. We went at 3:30 in the afternoon there was not that many people there and the service is great. It has a good atmosphere and they let you take home the beer glasses if you get draft beer. I would recommend it for a family.
Great food, good lunch menu. Like the location.
Relaxed vibe, nice waitress, Turnip Green Bites amazing, tvs to watch, slow to get food, cool plastic take home cups. Overall if your looking for a restaurant that is unique from others choose this place.
Waiter was excellent. Food was excellent.
This was our first time ever coming to Georgia Blues. This location is in Hattiesburg. The original location is in Madison. The food here was excellent. The atmosphere for a saturday afternoon was quiet and layed back. The service was really good. We did have to wait a few minutes longer than expected to recieve each item. But that is not a complaint. The food amount per dish made up for the wait. The restaurant was very clean. The bathrooms are small and crowded but clean and comfortable feeling. The male bar tender was very friendly and went out of his way to help everyone including fellow servers. The female servers were also friendly and full of smiles. And being HOT definitely doesn't hurt at all!! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. The prices are kinda high. But they do load up your plate. Also, they are located near a ton of shopping choices and night life activities.
Upon the suggestion of her friends I took my Great-Niece to Georgia Blue for her 19th Birthday. The food is delicious, the staff is outstanding and the atmosphere was amazing. I highly recommend it.
Good food, good atmosphere, live music
Very good food, that is definitely over priced as a whole. I ordered $15 BBQ chicken pasta that came out in what most would think of as a child's portion. Very tasty though. Turnip balls appetizer is really good.Service has always been good.Sweet tea is on point!
Very delicious, well beyond expectation for a quick bite on the side of the interstate.
We took our family of 5 yesterday after church for a decent lunch. My father and mother happened to be there as well, separate party from us... The waitress disregarded anything that we needed and I had to go inside to the bar to get forks and such for our table. They automatically put a tip over 10 dollars onto the bill an when I spoke to the manager about the issue she assured me that it would be delt with. I check the account this morning and what do ya know, got charged the amount they wanted to charge tip included for crappy service. The food is always good, but that server was horrible. I doubt we will go back there sadly.
Nice Atmosphere and sometime have happy hour specials. A bit pricey, we only had appetizers and a drink, wasn't very crowded but it was Sun evening. Service at the bar was great.
Tried a few new items on the menu this time. Cannot recommend a place more. Wonderful service, delicious menu, and of course very kid friendly. I've been 3 times and plan to visit many more! Keep it up y'all!
If you get a great server, the experience will be lovely! The food is excellent and the restaurant brings a great vibe. It's a good place to go, especially with a big party.
Excellent service. Had the shrimp etouffee and it was delicious. They have their own hot sauce which is similar to Tabasco which topped it off well. We sat at the bar and the service was superb. Plenty of beers on tap.
Food was great
Food was great but service could have been better. This was my third time going and have never had as bad of service as I did this time.
Great food and different specials (wild cards) every weekend plus live music Thurs Fri and sat nights
Nice place. Service was excellent. Decent lunch options. Prices were reasonable.
Delicious food and great service. This place is perfect if you want to just go out and grab some drinks with friends. It has a very laid back attitude. There is also and item served every day of the week that is both delicious and cheap for that specific day only. Highly recommend to visit here at least once.
Oh my goodness! This atmosphere is amazing. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Live music on weekends. Food is absolutely wonderful! Family friendly
The service was nice, the food was good and nice size portions.
Tl;Dr - Average food; pricey menu. Not being from the area, we wanted to try something local. This place seemed to fit the bill. But speaking of bill, we felt that while the food was good for the most part, the prices were a little high for what you get. Also, they wanted to charge for extra chips to give enough to finish up the cheese dip entree. Could be ok except the cheese dip was already $10. Fortunately the server handled that for us. They have live music on weekends and the singer was good but the volume was so loud it made it difficult to hear table conversation. The mashed potatoes are loaded and double baked and taste good but had a burned crust on the bottom that detracted from the flavor. Can't say I'd recommend it to others.
Good food. Nice atmosphere. My only complaint with them is that it's rather pricey.
Worth the trip. Great food and great staff. Just wish they would build one in my city. Yes, it's that good.
